Acceptance

By downloading and using Augento, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. Simple.

What Augento Is

Augento is a TOTP authenticator for macOS that stores and generates two-factor authentication codes on the same device. Yes, we know this reduces the security benefit of 2FA. The name says it all.

Use at Your Own Risk

Augento is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. By using same-device 2FA, you acknowledge that you are reducing the security separation that two-factor authentication is designed to provide. You are solely responsible for deciding which accounts to manage with Augento.

Security Recommendation

We strongly recommend NOT using Augento for high-security accounts such as banking, cryptocurrency, or primary email accounts. Use it for the low-risk services where 2FA is more annoying than necessary.

Subscription & Pricing

Augento is available as a subscription at $5/month or $40/year. A 3-day free trial is included, no credit card required. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from the app settings or your account). When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, contact us at hello@rapidrocket.ch for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are provided.

Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. You may only create one account per person.

No Liability

RapidRocket and the creators of Augento shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or security breaches resulting from the use of this software. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized access to your accounts.

Your Data

You own your data. Augento stores your TOTP secrets locally on your device. We have no access to your codes or secrets. If you lose your local data, we cannot recover it. Make backups.

Agent API

The local HTTP API is designed for automation and AI agent integration. You are responsible for securing access to this API and managing bearer tokens. The API only listens on localhost (127.0.0.1).

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Augento after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
